Modern Bath Taps

The United Kingdom is at the forefront of many industries, from music and film, to automotive design and computer technology. The only reason that you're reading this now is because a very brilliant English scientist named Tim Berners-Lee invented the World Wide Web. However, one area we've always seemingly lagged behind in is bathroom design. Whilst we at Tap Warehouse think that this generalisation is a tad unfair, we're trying everything to rid the UK of this tag once and for all.

Gone are the days where your only choice were a couple of bath pillar taps that were cheaply made and would drip almost from the moment that you installed them. We have an almost never-ending selection of modern bath taps that couldn't be further from those that look like they should be on an episode of Antiques Roadshow. With everything from wall mounted bath fillers to 3, 4 and even 5 hole bath shower mixers, your bathroom will be transformed into a 21st century sanctuary. And it all starts with your bath taps.

Our selection of modern and contemporary bath taps are sourced from some of the finest manufacturers in the bathroom industry. World renowned names like Crosswater, Vado, Roper Rhodes and Mayfair can be found here at Tap Warehouse, and all with fantastic savings and lengthy guarantees.

Minimum Water Pressure

Your water pressure depends on your home's water system. It’s important to consider water pressure when buying a new tap or shower. Buying a product with a minimum water pressure that’s too high for your home will result in poor performance.

- With a combi boiler you can usually expect between 1 and 2 bar

- With a gravity system (cold water tank in attic) you may have as little as 0.1 or 0.2 bar upstairs, and perhaps 0.5 bar downstairs

- With a high pressure unvented system (hot water cylinder, no cold water tank) you will generally have between 1 and 3 bar

You can install an item with a low minimum pressure rating on a high pressure system, but avoid installing an item with a high minimum rating on a low pressure system! Read our guide to water pressure to learn more.
