Bathroom suite types
You probably have an idea of what you want to include in your bathroom or what you have the space for. We’ve carefully handpicked a range of suites that help to create every type of bathroom at a more affordable price. Let’s take a closer look at each.
Bath and shower suites
We offer two types of bathroom suites that feature baths. Our standard three-piece suite which has a toilet, basin and matching bath is a great option for those looking for items for a main bathroom.
We also offer shower bath suites which include a standard, L or J shaped bath and can also include a shower screen and shower kit. Our L or J shaped baths are great for those who like to have a bit more room when they shower, while still having the benefit of a bath.
Basin and toilet suites
All of our bathroom suites come with a toilet and basin that’s perfectly matched together and also share design features with any of the other components included in the suite. Whether you’re after a traditional or modern style, our basin and toilet suites will create a space you’ll love.
Choose from a selection of basins that come with full pedestals or even with a vanity unit. Toilets can be a close coupled design which has the cistern attached, or as a back to wall or wall hung design where the cistern is hidden away. Rimless toilets can also be found within our bathroom suite collection which feature an inside pan without a rim making it easier to clean and with a more hygienic flush.
Cloakroom suites
If you’re on the hunt for items that will look great in a downstairs cloakroom or WC, then our selection of cloakroom suites have been expertly selected to fit. Often a smaller area that require just a basin and toilet, it can be a challenge to find the right pieces with the right dimensions. Our cloakroom suites have been created with space in mind and without compromising on style or durability.
Things to consider before buying a bathroom suite
Buying a bathroom suite with Tap Warehouse is really simple, but we would advise to consider a few key things before making your purchase.
Budget
Have a think about a realistic budget for your bathroom items. We offer three-piece suites from as little as £289.99, like this Emma 3 Piece Bathroom Suite. However, some of our more luxurious suites that include furniture and showers can be more expensive, reaching upwards of a £1000 plus.
How much you spend on a bathroom suite will depend on what pieces you need and the space you have available. You might have additional room in your bathroom for a shower enclosure or prefer the convenience of a shower bath. Similarly, if you require additional storage space, you might want to stretch your budget to include a vanity unit basin.
Additional items
Depending on the suite that you go for, you will most likely need some additional items. We do share this information with you on the individual suite product pages.
However, If you want to get everything in one go, be sure to shop from our complete bathroom suite category which includes a basin or vanity, toilet and bath, as well as waste and taps for your basin and bath and an optional bath panel.
Style
Finding the right style for your bathroom is an important decision and the suite that you go for can have a huge impact on the aesthetic. We have an extensive selection of modern bathroom suites as well as traditional bathroom suites to suit all tastes and budgets.
Modern bathroom suites
Modern suites have smoother, curved designs with contemporary angles and shorter pedestals. They also feature vanity units finished in trendy colours and brassware details. Taps are sleeker with either lever or joystick handles and come in a range of finishes, including brushed brass, chrome and matt black.
Traditional bathroom suites
If you’re after more character and charm then a traditional bathroom suite may suit you better. We have identified a collection of pieces that help to create a rustic, vintage or period styled space. Using intricate detailing, timeless finishes and elegant shapes, the items in our traditional bathroom suites create a distinguished yet comfortable bathroom.
Installation
It's a good idea to have a think about installation before making a purchase. We would always recommend asking a certified plumber to complete the work.
A standard three-piece suite can usually be installed in 8-10 hours so long as there is no any additional plumbing or major building work needed as part of the project. The cost to hire a plumber can vary depending on the work, the items to be installed and the area you live in. A day rate is usually in the region of £250 - £500, but this can vary if there are additional materials needed.
